  MICROTUNNELING

Microtunneling is generally defined as remotely controlled pipejacking (personal-entry is not required) whereby the soils at the cutter face are controlled to maintain balance. Muck removal is conducted by a pressurized slurry transport via variable frequency controlled centrifugal pumps. The Microtunneling Method is used for all ground types above or below the water table. This method is extremely accurate and can be used in areas with hazardous materials or soils.
